Pros: Relatively smooth pick up, no pushy add on sales, clear instructions regarding drop off, deposits and pre-existing damage etc.

Cons: No staff available at pick up to physically go and hand the car over to us, noting any additonal damage that was not on the paperwork. Instead I was told to photograph anything additional and email it over - not easy with 10s of photos! On return it was perfect - staff were available to check the car back in via a physical inspection.

Cons: The desk at Almeria airport was shut at 16.30 on a Monday every other car rental is open till 21.00 I arrived at 18.00 no car had to return next morning to get a car lost £50 from my first rental because I was classed as a no show then was told my insurance was not right and had to pay another £120 to be covered fully it's a con so I will be going elsewhere next time I go

Pros: These days the staff are helpful. That has not always been so.

Cons: The car we had was old and carried some damage from previous hirers, neither was it clean, In particular the windows were dirty to an unsafe extent. The hire contract carried a mileage limit which other websites do not apply. It did not affect us this time but is something I will be checking in the future. Could be a deal breaker.

Pros: NOTHING! AGGRESSIVE AND RUDE STAFF, TRYING TO GET AS MUCH EXTRA € FROM YOU. SAME EXPERIENCE FROM DESK IN LANZAROTE 5 MONTHS AGO, I WENT TO OTHER FIRM NEXT DESK SHE WAS SO RUDE. NO STAFF MEMBER INSPECTED CAR ON PICK UP, IN MY INNOCENCE I TRUSTED THAT CAR WAS OK, I DID NOT DAMAGE CAR, AND DID NOT NOTICE IT WAS SCRATCHED. SIMILAR SCRATCH TO MY CAR IN DUBLIN COST €70 TO REPAIR, COMPLETE DISGRACE AND EXTORTION. I WILL NEVER USE AGAIN, AND RECOMMEND TO ANYONE I KNOW OF SAME.

Cons: We were an hour early on pick up so they charged us €50 penalty as 'car not ready' - we paid as we didn't want to wait.Car was sitting in car lot, ready. We were charged €30 surcharge as I didn't tick the box to confirm I would return car with full tank, I said I intended to return with full tank, no matter, I didn't tick the box, a box I never saw. On return, they discover a scratch approx 120mm long by 1mm - which I did not see on pick up as it was so small. they charged my €400! for damage.

Rate includes

Mileage policy
Mileage is limited in Madrid, Sevilla, Malaga, Sancti Petri, Alicante, Barcelona, Valencia, San Juan, Torrevieja, Denia, Benidorm, Cadiz – Sancti Petri & Aguilas, Cordoba, Malaga, Zaragoza, Pamplona.
For rentals lasting 1 to 3 days, mileage is limited to 350 km per day.
For rentals lasting 4 to 6 days, mileage is limited to 250 km per day.
For rentals lasting 7 to 14 days, mileage is limited to 150 km per day.
For rentals of 15 days or more, mileage is limited to 100 km per day.
Mileage is limited, there will be a surcharge for each additional km. To access unlimited mileage, the customer can purchase an Additional Mileage option for an extra fee. The amount of this fee depends on the vehicle group.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A novice driver fee will apply to drivers who have held their driver license for less than 4 years.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP). A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.


In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
If the customer takes the following extra equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

All extras are available at the rental counter. Prices vary, depending on the rental period.
Delivery/collection service is not provided.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

Diesel vehicles are available for an additional charge.
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon pick up.
For electric vehicles: the customer will receive the vehicle totally charged, and it is NOT necessary to return it with a full charge.
Additional information
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
Winter tires are not mandatory in Spain.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 28 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 360 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 59 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges. Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
In order to have service out of hours, the renter must provide the following information: Flight number.
