Cons: the check in was long and laborious the agents where extermely rude and arrogant there were no clear instructions on what documents needed to be provided prior to pick up i have not got a final bill because because First allege damage which was not indicated at pick up - agent was helpfull in as much as going over previous retals and finding damage

Pros: All good and as expected.

Cons: On handover the agent tried to charge me for an additional driver and advised I didn’t have full cover even though my voucher clearly stated these were included.....thankfully I was able to provide a copy of the booking voucher which verified this. I felt this was a little underhand of the local agent and possibly done to try and get some more money from us.

Pros: I actually liked that the car had a little damage already because it makes me less nervous that anything could go wrong or that people would be too picky upon return. It was super convenient that I was able to pick up in town but return to airport at the end of our trip.

Cons: Address of office location needs updating.. it not a Jaguar Land Rover site now. They've moved to a location nearby, thus uber drivers etc have troubles finding the offices.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, First additional driver, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 620.00), Theft Protection, Contract fee, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Premium Location fee, Free modifications, State Tax.
Rate excludes
An E-toll charge will apply; personal consumption will be charged separately at the end of the rental period.
Mileage policy
For international renters renting more than 3 days, mileage is unlimited.
A local renter is defined as a renter who is a resident of South Africa.
For local renters, unlimited mileage is not offered.

Mileage is limited, there will be a surcharge for each additional km.
Details are available at the car rental company's reservation office.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 23.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy

Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Diners, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.

Cash, Debit cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
crossing country borders is available on previous request at least 2 days before the pick up date.
Information on the exact fee amount is available by request.

Crossing country borders is allowed to the following territories: Lesotho, Namibia, Eswatini.
crossing country borders is forbidden for certain car groups. Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
Underage additional drivers are also subject to a young driver fee.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

The first additional driver is allowed free of charge.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
