Pros: I am afraid I don’t have much positive to share on this occasion.
Cons: I was charged substantially more than initially quoted by the broker. Europcar rep could not explain why. The car model was not what I had ordered. The supplied car did not have a functioning screen washer which considering the amount of snow and slush on the roads in Stockholm at the time was a danger to drive. I had to stop frequently on motorway to clean the screen to be able to see. The local office did not have a solution or a suitable replacement car for the first three days of my rental.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 765.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.
There is no maximum age.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.

At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.

Visa Electron, Cash, Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.
