Pros: Nothing.

Cons: When I arrived at my pick up time, they didn't have a car for me. I had to wait 3 hours and then they gave me a car which was much bigger than what I'd booked. I'd have paid a bit more money so I could get my car on time and at the right size. Last, when I asked on the phone whether there were any petrol stations near the airport so I could fill up my car before dropping it off, the agent said: 'Lots'. There was not one directly on the way. I had to return the car half full and be penalised.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Agent was not cooperative. Vehicle ordered was not available and alternative was offered at additional cost of €50 per day. Additional driver was included in contract at cost of €39 for the full week. Agent did not accept and demanded €15 per day. After argument with Agent and long delay in receiving vehicle, Agent offered a different vehicle with no surcharge and also waived charge for additional driver. The experience was very disappointing.

Cons: The location of the rental office (Munich central station ) was difficult to find. Please update the rental desk location details in the documentation. And specify that it is a common location with a phone company. Google maps said it was not open before 10am while we had booked from 8am. It was confusing.

Pros: Car windshields were dirty but car was great. Balcony agent was ok.

Cons: Pick up and return agents were terrible: rude and non-helpful. In order to pick up the car and leave the parking lot, we had to wait around 10min at the exit for someone to answer a call from the toll and open it for us. To drop off, instructions weren't clear and the place to leave the car keys was hidden and not obvious to use. We almost didn't manage to find it.

Cons: The way in which the information is given to clients. Document Reads: Line 1: Pick Up Location Central Station Munich Line 2: Rental Office East Station Munich I booked the car and my hotel based on being able to pick up my car from Central station, but it turns out that line 1 is incorrect and pick up for Europecar is an hour away at East Station, this led to a huge argument with the very unpleasant middle aged lady at the Marrs Strasse office.

Pros: reprisentive was very polite.

Cons: Didn't have a kashkai like we order and we wher offerd similar - that's fine. BUT he offered us a captur that is lower level. or t-roc and gave us a T-CROSS a lot smaller, not a SUV and also we add more money for the "UPGRADE". We fill cheeted. we where willing to pay more and to get more but instead we got smaller car than ordered and pay more for it. The only thing good was that the car had 12 KM brand new BUT we put 4 times air in the tires and the orange light was wlways on.

Cons: The car I was provided was old almost 30000. We are not used to such odometer for rented cars. The car was not ready for winter climate. All communications were done only in German. Very bad service.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Limited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium location fee, Vehicle registration fee, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
All non-EU residents staying in the EU for longer than 6 months must present a driving licence from an EU country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form. The International Driving permit must be a physical one; a digital version will not be accepted.
Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy


Deductible/excess will be charged per damage.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Winter tires.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.


During winter season (from 01.11 until 31.03) Winter tires are included in price.
Booked extras are not guaranteed. All extras are subject to availability at the rental counter.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges. Diesel vehicles are available for an additional charge.
Additional information
Winter tires are mandatory in icy/snowy conditions from 01.11 to 31.03.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 28 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is not available.
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 29 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
