Cons: Difficulty finding pick-up location. Did not use airport shuttle. Arrived by cab from Liverpool. Price charged to my credit card slightly higher than quote. Plus there was a $16.99 charge just for using broker (Discover Cars).

Pros: The car was in good condition

Cons: The so-called fully comp insurance policy is a rip off!! I paid £35 for a so called fully comp insurance policy to be then told if I have an accident I have to pay up front & then claim back from the insurance company and it could take " up to 6 months!" I paid an EXTRA £140! Insurance to cover myself , Plus!! There was £450 debit placed on my bank card which to date according to my bank records was not taken out, NO RECEIPT FOR GOOD RETURN of the vehicle was provided! was told we don' do them!

Pros: There was courteousness and respect but it was very surprising to me I've rented cars before how dirty and dented the car was.

Cons: The car was dirty, the car had dents and blemishes. The sat nav didnt work but I was still charged the full price for it. Had I received somewhat of a discount would have been one thing but I didn't.

Cons: Upon arrival, Easirent would not accept the booking that I had made through Discover Car Hire .com as I had booked it in my passport name and not my driving license name. I was then at their mercy for a walk-in rate which was far more than anticipated. They also told me that the excess of £1400 would be actually taken off my credit card and not returned for a month. I will never use this company again.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Mileage: 500 miles per rental, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1715.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Premium Location fee, State Tax.
Rate excludes
An administrative charge of 5 % will apply for payments made using the following card(s) American Express.
Mileage policy
Mileage is limited to 100 miles per day.
For rentals of 30 days or more, mileage is limited to 500 miles per week.
For each additional mile an additional charge of 0.30 GBP per mile will apply.

Mileage limitations will apply if the car is to be used for crossing country borders.
Mileage is limited to 100 miles per day. For each additional mile an additional charge of 0.50 GBP per mile will apply.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 23 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must be written in English alphabet.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

Customers not resident in United Kingdom are required to present the following document(s): passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, return flight ticket, flight information, International Driving Permit (IDP), boarding pass in order to collect the car.
Renters from the following country(ies): United Kingdom must provide the following documents: 2 proofs of home address (e.g. Utility bill) in order to collect the car. The following document(s): proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill) must not be older than 3 months.
UK customers must bring their DVLA check code along with their photo ID. This check code can be obtained from the DVLA website.
In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
ID documents must be hard copies; documents held on mobile devices will not be accepted.

A local renter is defined as a renter who lives within 20 miles of the pickup location and who is not flying into town with a return ticket.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon collecting the vehicle.

The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
The deductible/excess amount is from 1500 GBP to 2500 GBP, depending on the car group.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The credit card must be valid for the following period from the start of the rental: 1 month.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
The following are accepted methods of payment:Debit cards.
Only International renters are allowed to use the following payment method(s): Debit cards. Additional insurance (Full Damage Waiver (FDW)) must be purchased if using the following payment method(s): Debit cards.
An administrative charge of 5 % will apply for payments made using the following credit card(s): American Express.
Local customers are allowed to rent only if they agree to a credit check and the credit score is positive.
This rule also applies if local customers want to use the following payment method(s): Debit cards.
A local renter is defined as a renter who lives within 20 miles of the pickup location and who is not flying into town with a return ticket.

Cash is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Geographical restrictions
Domestic one-way rentals are possible on request and for an additional charge.
International one-way rentals are not available.

Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.

Information on the exact fee amount is available by request.
Mileage limitations will apply when the car is to be used for crossing country borders.
Cross-border travel is allowed upon previous request and for an additional charge of 125 GBP + 20 GBP per day.
Crossing country borders to Ireland is available for 50 GBP per rental.
Cross-border travel is allowed when pick up has taken place in North Ireland.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

There is a charge of 10 GBP per day per driver.
Spouse is allowed for a decreased charge of 7GBP per day.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Fuel policy
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon pick up.
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel, and pre-payment is requested.
If the car is returned with a lesser amount of fuel, a refueling charge of 11.40 GBP will be applied + the cost of the missing fuel. In no case will a refund be given for unused fuel.
Additional information
Please note that the rental company will check for any endorsements or penalties (traffic offenses or penalty points) on renter's driver license and that renter may be refused the car if there have been any in the last 5 years.
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 29 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
