Pros: Nothing

Cons: Had a “reservation.” Got to car rental. There was no car. 20+ people were waiting and they did not tell us (for more than an hour). Had to come back the next day. Did not get a refund, even though my rental was now one day shorter. A miserable start to our trip.

Pros: The pick-up attendant was very friendly and helpful. The car was in pristine condition and drop-off was super easy.

Cons: We chose Dollar from a discount car website since they were the lowest price among all the other options that showed up; however, we were advised of $140 in extra fees upon pick-up (concession fee, customer facility charge, vehicle license fee). It would have been nice if those fees were disclosed upfront online.

Pros: First, most representatives had heavy accent, Secondly each person was giving different response, besides I was supposed to pick up my car at 8 pm I end up picking at 11:45pm. The reason was stating if you check in on tome you will get your car faster. But never mentioned you need to talk to your representative after checking in.

Cons: I liked the car. But not the service.

Pros: Finally worked with us despite not wanting to help us due to using a 3rd party for booking.

Cons: The 1-800 service is outsourced and was NOT helpful at all. Was not able to "skip the counter" and go directly to the car because the booking was through discovercars.ccom. NONE of this was made aware to me until I was already at the location.

Rate includes
Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (with zero deductible), Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), Airport surcharge, Vehicle registration fee, Customer Facility Charge (CFC), State Tax, Surcharges.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 20 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Alternatively, for rates that include Fuel Purchase Option the first tank of gas is included. Customers do not have to refuel the vehicle prior to return.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 62 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
