Ace Rent a car at Minneapolis Airport

Cons: The only thing that I didn't like was the style of car but it wasn't bad. I picked a Jeep on line and received something totally different ... no worries.

Pros: Shuttle drivers were extremely helpful & loaded & unloaded suitcase for - much appreciated as I’m disabled

Cons: Didn’t enjoy taking shuttle away from airport to get my car on such a COLD WINDY day?!?

Pros: One of the best rental experiences I’ve ever had

Cons: 1. I didn't get a physical receipt or copy of est. cost; 2. There are so much HIDDEN FEE; 3. It COSTED a ARM & LEG to rent for 4 days!!!; 4. CSR looks unsure; 5. We were not greeted when we dropped off the vehicle.; 6. EXTRA FEES were not mentioned prior to renting the vehicle.

Pros: Friendly shuttle drivers and nice clean car

Cons: Agent at the airport booth to check in did not acknowledge me for over 5 minutes while he was on a personal phone call. I was the only person there and was standing at the desk right in front of him.

Cons: The desk was difficult to find in Terminal 2 at MSP. And on Sundays, there's nobody at the desk and no information or direction on what to do at that point. I wouldn't have known and thought to go outside a random parking garage area and hope an ACE shuttle van shows up at takes me to the office where I would pick up the car. I finally found an airport employee that directed me, but otherewise there was absolutely no indication of where to go or what to do. The desk in Terminal 1 is much easier!

Cons: I should have asked more about the auto fuel fill. I filled the car about 50 miles away from drop off & was charges $50 or so. That seems a bit high for a few gallons

Pros: It was quick and easy! I got my expected vehicle in great condition with no hassle. Even though I arrived late at night and there was no representative at the counter, there was a phone that connected me to an agent immediately and I got the car quicker than expected.

Cons: At first, I didn't think I'd like that the car's actual location wasn't at the airport (it's a shuttle ride away), but it turned out to be a good thing--I didn't have to fight airport traffic or deal with confusing parking garages.

Cons: No AC on the auto was unacceptable. We could not complete our trip as programmed due to the high temperatures. We called for help, we were told someone will contact us but never happened. We should get money our money back.

Pros: As fast and painless a rental as we've ever experienced. The car (Hundai Elantra) was a clean, recent model with all the bells and whistles including lane-keeping, radar speed control, etc.

Cons: At MSP Counter, no signs to direct to Ace Counter. Had to ask and other rental booths would not share, finally one said, around the corner. Otherwise great.

Pros: The front desk gentleman was wonderful. The shuttle driver was lovely.

Cons: The price I agreed to pay online was about $350. I ended up paying almost $600 when I signed at the front desk. I understand that they're a business and there to make money, but I felt taken advantage of and like the online price was a misrepresentation.

Cons: One complaint. I discovered a bulge on the rear tire after arriving at my destination. I called to see what to do and was given an email address to address the situation. Unfortunately I never recieved an answer of what to do with this bad tire. I stopped at a service station and the tire guy said if it was their tire he wouldn't let me drive off the lot with out it being replaced. Luckily I was able to complete my vacation along with a 41/2 hour return trip to Ace with out the tire exploding.

Pros: They were professional and helpful. No smooth talking or pushy sales pitches. And they charged me what they said they would charge. Other companies simply don't operate like this. They were great!

Cons: The directions I received to pick up car told me I had to go to Terminal 1- my flight arrived in Terminal 2. It was cold and I had to get on a train, drag my luggage only to find out directions were wrong. There is an Ace counter in both terminals.

Cons: My only complaint is you can't get a hold of anyone over the phone. I tried for 35 minutes to get a hold of someone to extend my rental. I called the number provided (call center) which they indicated that I needed to talk directly to the location when transferred the line would just continue to ring and no one would pick up. When I would call directly, I would get a message that my call could not go through. Problem with the phone line, maybe?

Pros: Busy yet very attentive to our needs. The shuttle driver took me to my hotel after I returned my car -- he did not have to!

Cons: Pick up desk in the airport was not attended. Would have been easier for me -- if I had known no one would be there. The guy on the phone told me a van would be to the airport in 5-6 minutes and they were. So, that's good!

Cons: The only part that was slightly confusing at the airport was that when you’re following the maze from the terminal to the rental car counter, the logos of the rental car companies didn’t always have the ace rental car logo along with the National, Avis, etc. logos. But when you keep following the general signs for rental cars, you’ll find their counter near the rest of them.

Pros: I arrived at Midnight. The pick up van arrived fairly quickly for the off site rental office. I was provided with a brand new Chev Malibu which was quite comfortable. I did not notice that the fuel was at 7/8 full but it was listed on the rental paper. I returned it full. The agent understood that I had my own insurance and did NOT try to sell me additional insurance. He gets high grades for that. My rental period was during one of Minnesota’s famous winter snow storms. The car handled it great

Cons: I had zero issues with Ace. I would use them again anywhere they are located. Their costs were the lowest and the car and service were excellent.

Pros: The check-in was a quick process and the shuttles were frequent enough that I didn't have to wait very long for the next one to arrive. I also accidentally left my cell phone in the shuttle when I got out to go back to the airport. I didn't realize for about 20 minutes. I thought it would be gone forever with no way to find the phone number and call them back. Airport helped and the same driver found it and brought it with him with the next patron he dropped off at the airport-15 minutes later!

Cons: It was slightly difficult locating the ACE rental counter at the MSP airport. There were signs for every other car rental company, but I didn't see anything for ACE. I did finally find them around on the other side from everyone else, all by themselves. Unless I missed signs, I didn't see anything.

Cons: Heaters in seats didn’t work. We paid for an upgraded vehicle and couldn’t use those when it was freezing out.

Cons: Return drop was rushed by shuttle driver. Said to leave keys in vehicle and they would email the final bill in 5-10 minutes. Vehicle sat there for over 2 hour before being checked in. That was after I called 3 times waiting for the bill. Then they were charging an additional two hours on bill. I'm not a happy client needless to say.

Cons: Bc we were w/ friends on the last day of the lease, and ultimately tight on time returning the vehicle, due to navigating confusing roads over to the drop off site, we opted to let Ace fill the tank to full. Big mistake, as apparently car rentals have now decided to price gouge for a few simple gallons of gasoline. When gas is hovering between $3.20-$4.00 a gallon, no company should ever be charging $10 a gallon. So disappointed!!!

Transport to the Ace rental facility off-site at the Minneapolis Airport was easy and quick. The car was in like-new condition, clean and fresh. I would definitely recommend Ace and would use then again.

Pros: I had a low tire pressure light that wouldn’t go away after putting air in tire. Then the large pressure indicator came on. Fortunately, I was 10 minutes from the rental centre and Brandon simply said, “Come in and we’ll swap vehicles.” Done!

Cons: I received a $300 on rental. That’s okay. I assumed it would remain as pending on my credit card. Instead, it went through as a charge and reduced my spending limit. (I keep a low spending limit on my credit card.) I called about when it would be reversed and representative said it would take 7-10 days. I totally understand the process. It’s business. But it would have been helpful to have that explained when the car was released to me. But, hey, not complaining…just an observation.

The address on my paperwork was not correct so I called in when returning my car for the correct address and I was lucky enough to get he same young lady who made it clear to me that she wasn't have a bad day she is just rude.
