When they brought me out to the vehicle, it was a Prius, which doesn't meet my definition of a small SUV or crossover. I kept the car and it was fine, but that was the one glitch in the experience.

Cons: I feel I was misled about filling up the tank, I thought I was getting locked into a decent gas rate in case I brought it back less than full, I didnt realize I was prepaying an entire tank regardless of whether I brought it back full or empty - I don't appreciate this kind of tactic and this is a reason I will never use Ace rent a car again, I feel this was a dishonest thing to do.

Pros: The service person was extremely helpful and was able to upgrade our rental for only $10 a day. Their lot is away from the Airport but they had a shuttle that showed up within 10 minutes. The return shuttle was quick and got us to the airport quickly. One member of our group forgot his phone in the rental car and the shuttle guys quickly took him back to the lot to find it and then got him back to the airport before his flight.

Cons: The only issue is the desk is located around a wall away from all the other rental agencies. They had a small sign up high that took a while to find. I think they need a bigger sign to send you their direction.

Cons: They gave away my car…and offered me to pay for an upgrade (saying I only paid $18 per day…maybe that’s all you paid them). I declined and told him to keep looking. Then he offered me a sedan…and I told him to try harder. About 30 minutes later, he said his boss pulled one out of storage. Why would I ever use your company again??

Cons: When I picked up the car, they specifically told me to ignore scratches and just look for significant damages only. They said they had just scanned the car and all was okay. I did not notice any major dents or issues but when I returned the car, they claimed there was a scratch that they want to bill my insurance for. They claim it was not there when I rented the car.

I would've appreciated it if she had TOLD me there was an additional charge for adding another driver - then I could've made an informed decision.

I would suggest agents verbally telling customers this information during pick up. Pick up desk a little hard to find as it is separated from other car rental companies. Long wait for pick up. Cons: No one at terminal (late arrival). No greeting at rental place. check-in process took way too long. agent was booted out of the system right after entering info. Rather than switching terminals he continued to stay seated and slowly re-enter info. He then pressed the key fob a number of times to flash the car lights and asked if I saw it. Told me to go out and take a look then come back and tell him if anything was wrong. The car smelled like Alpo and the seats were stained.

I wouldn't have known and thought to go outside a random parking garage area and hope an ACE shuttle van shows up at takes me to the office where I would pick up the car. I finally found an airport employee that directed me, but otherewise there was absolutely no indication of where to go or what to do. The desk in Terminal 1 is much easier!

Cons: At MSP Counter, no signs to direct to Ace Counter. Had to ask and other rental booths would not share, finally one said, around the corner. Otherwise great.

Cons: The price I agreed to pay online was about $350. I ended up paying almost $600 when I signed at the front desk. I understand that they're a business and there to make money, but I felt taken advantage of and like the online price was a misrepresentation.

Cons: One complaint. I discovered a bulge on the rear tire after arriving at my destination. I called to see what to do and was given an email address to address the situation. Unfortunately I never recieved an answer of what to do with this bad tire. I stopped at a service station and the tire guy said if it was their tire he wouldn't let me drive off the lot with out it being replaced. Luckily I was able to complete my vacation along with a 41/2 hour return trip to Ace with out the tire exploding.

Cons: My only complaint is you can't get a hold of anyone over the phone. I tried for 35 minutes to get a hold of someone to extend my rental. I called the number provided (call center) which they indicated that I needed to talk directly to the location when transferred the line would just continue to ring and no one would pick up. When I would call directly, I would get a message that my call could not go through. Problem with the phone line, maybe?

Cons: The only part that was slightly confusing at the airport was that when you’re following the maze from the terminal to the rental car counter, the logos of the rental car companies didn’t always have the ace rental car logo along with the National, Avis, etc. logos. But when you keep following the general signs for rental cars, you’ll find their counter near the rest of them.

Pros: I arrived at Midnight. The pick up van arrived fairly quickly for the off site rental office. I was provided with a brand new Chev Malibu which was quite comfortable. I did not notice that the fuel was at 7/8 full but it was listed on the rental paper. I returned it full. The agent understood that I had my own insurance and did NOT try to sell me additional insurance. He gets high grades for that. My rental period was during one of Minnesota’s famous winter snow storms. The car handled it great

Pros: The check-in was a quick process and the shuttles were frequent enough that I didn't have to wait very long for the next one to arrive. I also accidentally left my cell phone in the shuttle when I got out to go back to the airport. I didn't realize for about 20 minutes. I thought it would be gone forever with no way to find the phone number and call them back. Airport helped and the same driver found it and brought it with him with the next patron he dropped off at the airport-15 minutes later!

Cons: It was slightly difficult locating the ACE rental counter at the MSP airport. There were signs for every other car rental company, but I didn't see anything for ACE. I did finally find them around on the other side from everyone else, all by themselves. Unless I missed signs, I didn't see anything.

Pros: I wish I could score lower than a zero. The 3rd party that set up e rental, DiscoveryCars, didn’t provide sufficient insurance coverage for Ace. Ace would not let me buy more insurance at their counter. So I had to cancel the rental but still ended up paying for it.

Cons: Return drop was rushed by shuttle driver. Said to leave keys in vehicle and they would email the final bill in 5-10 minutes. Vehicle sat there for over 2 hour before being checked in. That was after I called 3 times waiting for the bill. Then they were charging an additional two hours on bill. I'm not a happy client needless to say.

Pros: Very individual, personal and personable service.

Cons: Very low visibility location at the airport.

Pros: No waiting for the shuttle either direction.

Cons: Driver tossed my laptop; damaged it.

Pros: He was very friendly and moved the process along quickly. My flight was late and I actually received a nicer car than originally booked

Pros: The overall experience with renting the car was awesome and the quality of the car for the money was awesome!

Pros: Loved the Altima we were given. Also, the fella that helped us initially was good. All went well with the overall process until the end.

Cons: Bc we were w/ friends on the last day of the lease, and ultimately tight on time returning the vehicle, due to navigating confusing roads over to the drop off site, we opted to let Ace fill the tank to full. Big mistake, as apparently car rentals have now decided to price gouge for a few simple gallons of gasoline. When gas is hovering between $3.20-$4.00 a gallon, no company should ever be charging $10 a gallon. So disappointed!!!

Pros: Quick service - price beat everyone by 25%... car was clean and overall I was impressed with ACE.

Pros: New car, easy process from picking up to dropping off. Thought the “off site” lot would be a pain, but it wasn’t at all. Ace will be my first choice when I return to MSP.

Cons: No problems with ACE, but The MSP airport needs to provide better signage and location of ACE agent desk. They have it as an afterthought behind the other rental agencies.

Cons: cost of rental but that seems to be the norm these days. You weren't any higher than anyone else, but it is just a sign of the times. The outside cleanliness of the car could have been better. Looked like it wasn't even washed.

Pros: 1. Shuttle service from airport to car rental was great. 2. Having a person there when picking up the car was also great.

Cons: The car was fine but it did pull back and forth at times and I'm not sure if it was the highway or the steering.

Pros: My experience was perfect. Ace Rent A Car at the Minneapolis Airport was everything I expect. People were friendly and polite. Transport to the Ace rental facility off-site at the Minneapolis Airport was easy and quick. The car was in like-new condition, clean and fresh. I would definitely recommend Ace and would use then again.

Cons: There was absolutely nothing I did not like about Ace Rent A Car at at the Minneapolis Airport. It is privately owned and the people try hard to please.

Pros: I had a low tire pressure light that wouldn’t go away after putting air in tire. Then the large pressure indicator came on. Fortunately, I was 10 minutes from the rental centre and Brandon simply said, “Come in and we’ll swap vehicles.” Done!

Cons: I received a $300 on rental. That’s okay. I assumed it would remain as pending on my credit card. Instead, it went through as a charge and reduced my spending limit. (I keep a low spending limit on my credit card.) I called about when it would be reversed and representative said it would take 7-10 days. I totally understand the process. It’s business. But it would have been helpful to have that explained when the car was released to me. But, hey, not complaining…just an observation.

Cons: See above, Terrible service, no help with a cancelation I was told to make the airline pay for the rental that was never picked up or used.
