Cons: I had to put in engine oil as it was left empty, if I did not put in the oil as my expense the car would have seized without oil, I expect that these elementary things to be done for the sake of the rental company as I almost lost my trip back to Malta besides the hassle.

Pros: The WhatsApp notification on arrival was very useful.

Cons: Instructions to return car not clear. Instructions regarding fuel at return not given. Vehicle was overdue for its service - this was not communicated and warnings were distressing.

Pros: Nothing I was disappointed alot and on review I wanted to keep on talking but i ran out of words that can be typed

Cons: 1)Van we got was very old and A/C didnt work well. 2) The amount of deposit taken conpating to other Rental Companies. 3) Van was in a very bad shape with denta scratches ect… 4) On pick up they forgot our child seat and hat to wait for 30 minutes in the scorching sun so they can go and get it. 5) When dropping off the vehicle there was no one from ACARENT to be seen although they told me on pick up that they will be there till 9pm(I was there at 6pm) and was caling them and no one picked up

Cons: I would have liked a clearer picture of the damage the car had. The agent told me that a video of the damages were taken before the last car wash. However, i had no indication what exactly they were. They were not written on the contract i signed.

Pros: I booked giving an expected time of pick-up to the best of my expectations. The impression I had was that I was picking up the car at the Port of Pozzallo. Instead, a driver delivered it to us the car (on time). As it happened, I was ready to pick up the car one hour earlier...

Cons: The rental cost for 7 days was expensive, compared with other places in Europe where we have rented a car (eg Malta, Greece, South of France). The car was delivered to us unwashed on the outside and very dusty. A wash-down would have made it more acceptable (interior cleanliness was satisfactory). Pick up and delivery was not easy.

Cons: When we arrived at the port the van was not there, after round about 30inutes a driver came with an 8 seater instead of a 9 seater. We spent the morning driving around Sicily and waiting for the van to be replaced from an 8 seater to a 9 seater. Definitely would not recommend this company. At least he gave us a discount for ruining the first day of the holiday.

Pros: The price was reasonable and the car was in good conditions. The most important reason was the convenience to pick up and drop off the car.

Cons: I rented a fiat 500 and I had a Lancia instead of a Fiat 500. Moreover, the deposit conditions changed noticeably, however, it was in my favour. The thing is the agent was friendly but a bit messy.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1200.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 74 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

For vehicles in groups Economy, Compact, Standard, Intermediate, Fullsize a driver license issued at least 2 years ago is required.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): EU.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

The first additional driver is allowed free of charge.
Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request. Additional charges will be applied. Details are available from the rental company's reservation office.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
