    Croatian roads are built and maintained to a very high standard, it was a pleasure to drive on such smooth surfaces. Very few potholes, unlike the UK!

    We drove 400 km to get to Split where we saw Diocletian's palace - a must see! A 1700 year old palace that still has over 1000 people living in it today. We also visited Trogir a beautiful Mediterranean village with narrow walkway streets and tons of bars and restaurants. We then drove to Plitvice National Park - absolutely beautiful. With waterfalls, lakes, caves, nearly flat walks, a boat trip and a sight seeing bus journey back to the car park.
