Pick-up instructions
Once disembark the fuller ferry at Matiatia Wharf, find the representative by entering the ferry terminal building on the left, Look for Waiheke Car Rental Kiosk (GREEN color sign) through the main doors. If you are unable to locate the counter, simply call on 006499308271. The Business hours are 8am – 5pm Monday -Sunday, for all Pickup after-hours, it must be organized at least 48 hours in advance via email or phone call. The representative will send all the instructions to the customer by email confirming. The hire agreement must be signed prior to collecting the rental car and payment for a rental car and bond must be cleared prior to collection. All rental cars in Waiheke Island are parked at the Matiatia Public car park which is a 5 minutes’ walk from the Ferry terminal. The collection of keys is from the office inside Matiatia, Look for the Waiheke Car Rental Sign (Green Colour) to collect the rental car keys. The representative has partnered with Waiheke Car Rental to offer customer service on this beautiful island of Waiheke. Once receive the customer booking, the team will send all clear instructions via email.
Drop-off instructions
The rental car keys must be dropped to the key hole located at the desk of Waiheke Car Rental (Green color).
Rental car must be parked in the same parking area where it was collected from.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Additional driver, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1325.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, VAT (value added tax).

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name.

When paying with cash, a debit/credit card issued on the main driver's name is required for security purposes.

Using a ferry is allowed on the previous request and for an additional charge with special permission from the car rental company.
Written permission from the rental company is required.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 90 days. If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 360 minutes.
