Pros: Friendly, clear explanation.

Cons: The seller forced me to buy additional insurance as a mandatory option. From the seller's explanations, insurance is a requirement, not an option. If I hadn't done that, I wouldn't have received a car. Due to the time I had at my disposal, I bought insurance and incurred additional costs related to renting a car.

Cons: Your company misrepresented MEX car rental in Cozumel. Intentional or not, you have a responsibility to accurately represent the car companies you post. MEX car rental is a total scam that took my $150 usd car rental per week, to $404.00! 4 different customers walked away while I waited. They did this shady insurance scam, and you represented MEX with a “7.1” approval rating!

Pros: Mex rent a car provided excellent and detailed information during pick up so that we had peace of mind on our day trip to Cozumel. The clerk told exactly what we needed to know about the rules on the island amoung other tips to get us around safer. I will definitely rent here again when coming back to Cozumel!

Pros: It's the closest, easiest access to the airport in Cozumel. It's only about a 100-200 meter walk from the main doors of the airport over to the MEX RENT A CAR office, which is a modest converted trailer building with a gravel, fenced-in back lot with cars. I just used them for my second time in a row, and I was provided with a nearly new Nissan March. I used to use other rentals in Cozumel, but MEX is by far the easiest I have had, so it will now keep me coming back in the future, as well.

Pros: We didn’t even end up with a car! Went somewhere else! First off couldn’t even find the rental kiosk it was NOT marked at all. Then they would not take our insurance and car was double what was quoted.

Cons: Everything will never use Discover Cars.com again. I expect a refund of my deposit for a car we could not rent!

Pros: I didn't. What happened to the pr_booking $19 that once I booked I was locked into using or loosing. I don"t think your company is user friendly. I think your main concern is getting money: therefore, the only recommendation I will give your company is that people don"t use it.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1215.00), Theft Protection, Renters Liability Protection (RLP), Airport surcharge, Tourism levy, Free modifications, State Tax, Customer Facility Charge (CFC), Concession fee.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

Maximum rental age is 70 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country. Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, credit card, ID card.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, JCB. Any other cards or cash payments are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Child seat (2-4 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

All extras are available at the rental counter. Prices vary, depending on the rental period.

Delivery/collection service is not provided.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information

In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
