Cons: When we came to drop off there was no one around from Ilha Verde. But we were able to call the number at the inside desk and get the car delivered.

Pros: Car was clean and in very good condition (practically new). Transitions at airport (pick up and drop off) were smooth.

Cons: Would be much more comfortable if someone inspected the car with us upon return. Car was somewhat appropriate to the category but not enjoyable to drive - not really compact (SUV), heavy with limited power and handling.

Cons: Takes a long time to pick up the car. This is a popular company in Azores, but besides having a somewhat complex process, most people don't check in online. It took about 7-9 minutes for each person to pick up the car.

Pros: Significant dings and scratches all over the vehicle. Perhaps putting stickers on the vehicle scratches to identify already acknowledged issues would help everyone.

Cons: Our flight was detained from Lisbon and I have no luck reaching any of the numbers provided on the paperwork. This was our first time on pico Island. We didn’t know if the rental desk would still be open when we got there. Very stressful.

Cons: Car was dangerous. Brake pads totally worn out and they would not change car. Also no petrol cap so not only risk of fire but petrol evaporated. We hardly used the car as it was unsafe and the company refused to give us an alternative or a refund

Cons: I have never paid more for a rental car in my life (I am 50 and I have rented lots of cars). And the car was in bad condition. For example, the wind screen whiper did not work properly and we could only drive max 50 (and it rains relatively often on Pico). The waiting time at the reception due to non working IT-systems (so they say), is ridiculously long and, for example, you have to write your name and address on a paper, as if this is not data they haven’t gotten in the online reservation.

Pros: Easy and fast procedure at the desk (when started).

Cons: We came 25 minutes earliar than agreed, car was on parking and no other people waited but had to wait 25 minutes that procedure for pick-up started. The car has not been cleaned.

Pros: Deposit was not actually charged to credit card right away like some other rental companies. The credit card hold was removed immediately after car return.

Cons: Hello I am writing because I had a difficult time picking up this rental contract number 901040. My flight arrived July 7 and when I made my original plan, I had attempted to pick up at 08:30pm when my flight landed however the website would not allow me stating the Ilha Verde counter is closed. Upon arriving to airport it was clearly open. I inquired about if they may be able to release me a car earlier but they said no. I had to take a cab back and forth for pickup. Gas tank not full.

Cons: There were no real inspections of the car on pick up or return. The car had not been cleaned before pick up. The passenger side windscreen wiper was in poor condition and didn't clean the windscreen effectively.

Cons: I have rented a MEgane or similar, they gave me a 5 year old car with no breaks, stop lights, etc. After calling them several times they have replaced the car for a Clio (lower segment) but denied any refund. This car was also 4 years old and in very poor conditions. This operator should not have a license to operate.
