Pros: Not much.

Cons: 1) They haven't refunded the security deposit - and I didn't cause any damage to the cars. I'm trying to fix it with my bank 2) They gave me a car without AC. When I came back to complain the customer representative asked "Are you sure?" and didn't want to change the car 3) They didn't have a car from the same category to replace, but refused to give me an upgrade. I had to return later (third time) to get another car.

Pros: I would definitely rent from EXER again. The manager was extremely nice and professional. He gave us his cellphone number just in case there was an emergency while we were on the island. The car was average, but it did the job. The air conditioning worked well & there was enough space for our luggage (my 2 biggest concerns). We rented a mini vehicle and it worked out great for my husband and I. I wouldn't rent that size for a family.

Cons: The biggest problem was that it took over an hour to rent the car from the airport. I already had a reservation & should have been able to expedite the process. Also make sure to check the gas tank before leaving the lot. Our paperwork said it had a full tank, but once I started the car it was less than half a tank full. The staff corrected the paperwork immediately.

Pros: Quick and efficient.

Cons: The requirement of transferring the deposit amount. I would have gladly bought full coverage with no deposit at a higher rate from EXER directly. Instead, I have to wait 20 days for getting the deposit back. I understand the car renter is not an insurer, but neither am I a bank.

Cons: This is not “ meet and greet” as advertised! There is a walk to the office! The walk is quite difficult and bumpy! Not very easy when carrying 2 suitcases!! They also charged me as my flight time changed so needed to return a little later (2.5hrs) . Not very flexible in approach

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 800.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 24.

There is no maximum age.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 75.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries. Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
Deposit and deductible policy

Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.


Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Greece.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 59 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
