Cons: would have liked some more flexibility in: A) moving from daily to weekly payment B) returning in a different country without paying per-km All flights to my country were cancelled while I was in Europe which required me to change my plans- extended stay (longer rental) and different travel plans (ie returning the car in a different country) and neither of those was possible.

Cons: I couldn't get the car I rented from Discovery. They give whatever is convenient. I paid more fees. This is not true. Additionally, only one person is working during registration. There's a long queue. This is not pleasant.

Pros: Great friendly customer service, quick rental and as planned.

Cons: The office location in the center of Amsterdam means you will have some traffic jams and once I arrived I was told I have to return the car to a parking lot which is not by the office and caused more traffic - it would be best to receive in advance a paper with the address of the parking lot and a clear explanation that is where the return is. Additi0onaly, the website for online check-in doesnt work well so I did the car rental check in on site (its was quick anyhow)

Rental Conditions

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 900.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium location fee, Vehicle registration fee, VAT (value added tax).
Mileage policy
For all customers, except local renters the mileage is unlimited.
For local renters mileage is limited to 200 km per day.
For rentals of 28 days or more, mileage is limited to 108 km per day. Each additional km will cost an additional 0.17 EUR to 0.27 EUR, depending on the car group.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

Maximum rental age is 80 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.

Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Child seat (2-4 years of age).

Booked extras are not guaranteed. All extras are subject to availability at the rental counter.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Netherlands.
The use of snow chains is not allowed on public roads.
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is not available.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 30 minutes.
