Pros: It was efficient and they picked us up from airport immediately

Cons: Finding the Ishigaki Alamo car rental was difficult. It does not exist on Google maps and difficult to find on Alamo’s website. We thought for a moment we were scammed! The rental also mentioned that no shuttle bus was needed to pick up the car but this wasn’t the case. Signage at ishigaki airport for car rental was confusing as arrows pointed towards the wrong road. You need to exit the main entrance and cross the first road, then turn left. A shuttle van is there to bring you to Alamo.
Cons: Inflexibility when trying to change car as one booked was too small

In addition to a regular driver's license, an International Driving Permit under the Geneva Convention of 1949 is required.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
Driver licenses from the following country(ies): Belgium, France, Germany, Monaco, Switzerland, Taiwan will be accepted only if the translation is approved by the Consulate or Embassy.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
