Pros: When there was a mixup at rental desk ( I had provided him with booking #, not confirmation #), I called Discovercars and they quickly affirmed my y reservation! Great service all around after that!

Cons: I was given a pickup location and went there and was told the car was at another location. I no longer had a ride (uber) to go to another location. So I didn't get the car I reserved for the price I was promised. Paid $150 more...bait and switch. Not happy.

Cons: When I arrived at 8am, they were leaving to go pick up other cars. They did not open until 8:15, at which point they said they had no car for me because I had not arrived the prior day (flight was delayed 2 hours, they closed at 6 which is about 10 minutes after I landed). I have doubts about this, since they would have only had 2 hours before closing to have rented our the car held for me. Still, they made no effort to find me a car, tell me when a car might be available, or direct me elsewhere

Cons: The rental company did not have a car ready for me, after making me wait 20 minutes to tell me, despite having a confirmation. I have since emailed DiscoverCars for my refund and I have not heard back.

Cons: Horrible customer service as they cancelled my reservation. The primary driver's plane was late arriving, after Ace car rental closed. I tried to become the primary driver since I had made the reservation and paid the deposit. Ace staff (of one) was rude would not accommodate the situation in any form. Bad

Pros: Absolutely nothing.

Cons: Took an hour to pick us up at airport, shady sales rep telling us we needed to pay more and wouldnt give us the car until we did., Said it was DIscover cars fault and wouldnt let us leave until we paid more money.

Rental Conditions

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage (except for local residents), Collision Damage Waiver (with zero deductible), Airport surcharge, State Tax.
Rate excludes
An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): USA.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, return flight ticket, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill), proof of liability insurance.
Insurance
If opting to self-insure, the renter must have a full coverage policy that includes the deductible, physical damage, and liability.
This insurance must be valid in the following country(ies): USA.
USA - California residents must use their own Third Party Liability and Collision Damage Waiver insurance policies.
In case the customer does not have one of the insurances, mentioned above, the customer will need to purchase insurance at the counter.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.

It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Eurocard, Discover, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
Only foreign renters are allowed to use the following payment method(s): Debit cards.

Maestro, Cash, Cheques, Diners, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
