We waren op vakantie in de regio van Berzocana, Extremadura. Wat is het daar prachtig! De auto heeft ons overal gebracht, omdat het een prima auto was en ook omdat de wegen in Spanje erg goed onderhouden zijn, ook in bergachtig gebied.

Vanuit Madrid naar de Extremadura gereden voor een vogeltripje, schitterend landschap rond Trujillo. Rond de Hollandse etenstijd heb je pech want de restaurants gaan pas rond 20.30 uur weer open.

Ik raad mensen niet aan om Madrid centrum met de auto aan te doen. Zeker als je niet bekend ben. Combineer in dat geval de auto met de metro om de binnenstad te bereiken.
Zelf zaten we 100 km buiten Madrid. Heerlijk relaxed reizen buiten de grote stad.
