Driving in Italy was great experience, we were amazed by the infrastructure there: not just the roads, trains, ferries or buses and their frequency. Tunnels on the highway were long and amazing and they couldn't have made it easier for the motorists. Everyone well behaved on the roads and did not face any long jam in any city(including Rome, Milan, Venice). Hardly could find any roads with pot holes or anything to rattle the minivan. Venice, Florence, Pisa, Rome and Milan were part of our ambitious trip and managed to touch upon most of the places with ease. A number of choices on the restaurants available for everyone. There were options for Vegetarians as well which was ok. Non-Veg almost all items had pork in it, which was not a problem for half of us, others who eat just chicken or lamb, had a problem and stuck with some veg options
