Pros: Fast drop off

Cons: Website states accepted debit cards, no obvious indication that this incurred a fee each day. Despite another driver having a credit card the agent would not accept this. We suffered a €300 additional cost which was not refundable. This had to come out of our spending money for our first family holiday. The lady was not helpful in this situation. Surely if we’re paying the money it shouldn’t matter if it’s credit or debit card or who’s credit card. The car seat was broken for the child too

Pros: Not good. They are quick but have no customer service quality.

Cons: The car was dirty. The paint was peeling off the hood. Oil change required, DEF liquid required, service required. Bad alignment. Awful car.

Pros: Collection and return was seamless with courteous staff.

Cons: Although I would not normally expect a rental car to have 90,000km on the clock and have multiple bodywork scratches, perversely these suited the needs of my ski trip with the rigours of putting skis in and out of the boot and driving on snowy, muddy and icy mountain roads and car parks!

Pros: Quik pick up

Cons: The booking contract states "credit card used to pay need to be chipped and pin code enabled". I did not have a pin code (we hardly use pin on credit cards in USA) and did not have time to get one from the bank as they have to snail mail them. I emailed the rental car location to figure if the POS would accept my credit card and the agent could not confirm: "it depends on the bank and the POS". It was stressful to imagine not being able to pick up a car. It worked out but was stressful.

Pros: was worse than bad I have claimed a refund from the credit card company for the deposit I paid to discover carts as we were refused a car

Cons: refused as the car as did not accept any of the 10 UK credit cards I have as none had cover for insurance excess

Cons: My flight was delayed by british airways from 5pm to 8pm. My original return time of the car was 1pm. I asked if someone was renting the car the same day after me, I was told no. I asked if I could return the car at 4pm was told no. I then asked if I had to pay the extra day rate I paid which was ~£80 a day. I was also told no. despite nobody renting the car after me and asking for the day rate I paid I was told I’d have to pay €200!!!!!!!
