Car Hire in Malta

Drivers are very aggressive & the roads are curvy & convoluted . Good idea to have someone navigate for you while driving.

Malta is a great island. Take a look.

We planned to visit only a few historical spots during our 4 day February trip to Malta and Gozo, but when visited the first spot (it was part of Historical Malta), they were offering a multi site ticket. With little research, we found out that purchasing it could lead to significant savings. We paid €120 for 2 adult tickets, visited 18 sites, and saved around €100 comparing to individual purchases. We still didn't visited all we planned (aside from Historical Malta sites), but we enjoyed it thoroughly, and can't wait to visit Malta again. Next time will be more chilled type of the holiday, and less of a site-to-site type of a trip, as we want soak up that beautiful weather that was so hard to leave and return back to the grey UK. In general, prices are fairly reasonable, if you plan your trip accordingly

We toured every town and village on the island - we are photographers and were able to easily transportable of our equipment and shoot to our hearts content - 3500 pictures in 0 days!

Staying up at Ramla Bay a car was a must to get to nearby tourist attractions and beaches

Malta was a wonderful place to visit, but the roads are poorly lit in the evening by comparison to the UK. Also, local drivers seem erratic and are apt to swap lanes without indicating and have poor regard for the speed limit.

Only downside was that the Gozo ferry had a huge queue for cars (as we were waiting for my friend to get ready!) so we went round other places on Malta island instead. I hired from Sicily-by-car as it had ferry travel included.

Malta is a beautiful country, lots of historical landmarks and gorgeous nature spots. The Maltese people are very kind and friendly.
