A Makpetrol gas station is located directly outside the airport on the right-hand side of Highway A1 when returning to the airport. Had a great self driving tour of North Macedonia - highly recommended. Roads are in good condition and largely free of traffic (even at rush hour in the cities!). Some roads are toll roads though these are cheap and can be paid in cash or by card. A satnav (and / or good maps) is important as North Macedonian signage does leave something to be desired!
