We did absolutely everything you could wish to do on a holiday in Crete. The car was comfortable and very economical. The gears 1, reverse and 3 seemed a little tricky but otherwise a very good experience..

We spent 13 days traveling around the island. three days based in Rethimno (Atlantis Beach hotel & Spa), five days Near Zaros, (Eleonas Country Village) in the mountains and the final five days in Agios Nikolaos (Minos Palace hotel & suites). All the hotels exceeded expectation and we managed to see a fair bit of the island from the locations we chose. First time in Crete and we were very impressed.

Traveled to Crete, stayed in south-east of island near Ierapetra. Great for a quiet break away from the crowds but within 10 min drive of a local town with places to eat/things to see and 45 mins of Agios Nikolaos which was lovely.
