Cons: 1/We were told that insurance was basic insurance and not full cover as we paid for with Discover Cars. Com and this was a bit disconcerting. 2/ Did not give a minimum of explanation of some important functions of car, how to turn on air conditioning, how door locking system works, how to operate electronic control panel in case of notifications, ecc.

Cons: On arrival, a small car was offered when I’ve rented a large one. Staff resolved the problem within 24hrs.

Pros: The price of the rental
Cons: The service in general. It takes long time tô pickup. The people work slow and there arent enough staff at the rental. I needed ti pay 30 R more because I return the car dirty. I rental a car for 14 days. What does The rental expect for that? To come with the car clean? Thats not possible in the real world. This is the fiesta time i need to pay for that….amazing. But I couldnt say nothing due to the time i must go the airport. Bad experience

Rate includes
Airport surcharge, Loss Damage Waiver (LDW), Roadside Assistance Cover (RAC), Road tax, VAT, Unlimited mileage, Modifications, Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time
Mileage Policy
For rentals longer than 27 days, mileage is limited up to 3000 km per rental. Each additional kilometer will cost an additional charge of 0.90 BRL per km.
Driver Requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years. A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 21. There is no Senior Driver Fee. The driving licence must have been issued by authorised authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental. Driving license with non-Roman Alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillicetc.) must be complemented by an International driving license. License requirements for local renters: the renter and driver have to show a Definitive, original andvalid Driver's License (CNH), issued 1 year ago. License requirements for international renters: the renter and driver have to show a valid and original ID card andpassport at the time of pick up. Renter must show Visa within the time allowed to stay in Brazil, except for renter coming from Mercosur.
Insurance
Standard insurance is included in the price.
Additional Insurance
The following additional insurance policies are available at the rental desk: Partial Damage Waiver (PDW), Glass and Tyre Cover (GTC), Personal Accident Insurance (PAI), Third Party Liability (TPL).
Optional insurance is available for an extra charge.
Security deposit
Deposit amount will be blocked on the customer’s credit card until the end of the rental period.
The minimum deposit amount is 700 BRL. At time of pick up customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
Payment Policy
The following payment methods are accepted: American Express, ELO, Dinners, Hipercard, MasterCard, Visa, Bradescard, Porto Seguro, Credicard and Nubank. Only cards issued by bank institutions will be accepted. Cash, Debit or Prepaid cards are not accepted. The credit card must be in the main renter name or the amount of 35 BRL will be applied and the financial responsible need to be present at the moment of the pick-up.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g, GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross Border Policy
Border crossing is not allowed. In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
One-Way Drop Offs
Domestic one way rentals between different cities are allowed for a charge of 0.90 BRL per km. For returns among the rental locations at the same city or up to 20 km distance, the Domestic one way is free of charge.
Policy for outside of business hours
Out of hours service is not available. Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) 90 is minutes. During high season and holidays, the grace period is 60 minutes.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to age of 1), Booster seat (4-10 years old). Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.
Delivery service is available only during working hours and for the additional charge of 50 BRL per way. Delivery service is available on the previous request at least 48 hours before the pickup date.
The client should verify availability with Vip Desk team on the renting company's e-mail with at least 36 hours in advance.
Chauffeur Service
Chauffeur Service is available on the previous request at least 48 hours before the pickup date.
Chauffeur Service is available for 250-400 BRL per 8 hours. The price depends on Chauffeur language requirements. During weekends and out of hours, Chauffeur Service is not available.
Fuel policy
Car is provided with full tank of petrol and it must be returned with the same amount of petrol in order to avoid additional refueling charges of 7.90 BRL per liter. Alternatively, the renter may purchase a tank full of fuel at the time of rental and return the tank empty.
