Cons: Worn out car with 246.000 km, many dents , all information in Japanese, definitely not in good technical condition

Pros: They were true to their words. Someone was at the arrival terminal waiting for me with my name written on the sign. Everything went smoothly from there on and I enjoyed the overall rental experience.

Cons: The only thing that I didn't like, and that happened at the end of the rental, was the fact that no one informed me that I had to pay for accessing the airport parking lot during the drop-off. The agent checked the car and left with it, only to called me later that the parking wasn't paid and Police had pulled him over. I had to send money through Mpesa for him to be released. Not a very enjoyable experience since there was no sign or indication that parking for drop-off should be paid.

Rate includes

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Mileage: 1250 km per rental, Additional driver, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 600.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.

Mileage policy

For rentals lasting from 1 days to 6 days, mileage is limited to 250 km per day.
For rentals more than 7 days mileage is unlimited.

Driver requirements

Minimum rental age is 23 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

Maximum rental age is 65 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 3 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.

Deposit and deductible policy

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

Payment policy

At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: MasterCard, Visa, American Express.

Cash, Cheques, Diners, Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).

Optional extras and services

Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains.

When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

The first additional driver is allowed free of charge.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Additional charges will be applied.

Fuel policy

The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
