The offices are located 7 km from the airport. To access them, please go to the designated area for minibuses at the airport, where the shuttle will be waiting for you. Exit the arrivals Terminal between gates B and C. Cross via the mechanical walkways located under the bridge in the direction of the parking building. After passing two pedestrian crossings, you will find yourself in front of a café. Turn left walking along a pedestrian path. At the end of this path, on the right, another pedestrian path begins, marked in black with a sign that says “Other VTC.” Continue along this path into the parking building until you find a red door with a sign that says “Abonados G.” Cross the door and you will be in the waiting area for the courtesy shuttles. Once there, look for the Sicily by Car shuttle. If you do not find the shuttle at the stop, remember the frequency is approximately every 15 minutes.

Exit the arrivals Terminal between gates B and C. Cross via the mechanical walkways located under the bridge in the direction of the parking building. After passing two pedestrian crossings, you will find yourself in front of a café. Turn left walking along a pedestrian path. At the end of this path, on the right, another pedestrian path begins, marked in black with a sign that says “Other VTC.” Continue along this path into the parking building until you find a red door with a sign that says “Abonados G.” Cross the door and you will be in the waiting area for the courtesy shuttles. Once there, look for the Sicily by Car shuttle. If you do not find the shuttle at the stop, remember the frequency is approximately every 15 minutes.

The offices are located 7 km from the airport. To access them, please go to the designated area for minibuses at the airport, where the shuttle will be waiting for you. Exit the arrivals Terminal between gates B and C. Cross via the mechanical walkways located under the bridge in the direction of the parking building. After passing two pedestrian crossings, you will find yourself in front of a café. Turn left walking along a pedestrian path. At the end of this path, on the right, another pedestrian path begins, marked in black with a sign that says “Other VTC.” Continue along this path into the parking building until you find a red door with a sign that says “Abonados G.” Cross the door and you will be in the waiting area for the courtesy shuttles. Once there, look for the Sicily by Car shuttle. If you do not find the shuttle at the stop, remember the frequency is approximately every 15 minutes.

Waarom een auto huren in Mallorca?
Mallorca lijkt op het eerste gezicht een klein eiland, maar dat is bedrieglijk. In werkelijkheid is het eiland veel groter dan je denkt en de afstanden tussen stranden, dorpen en bergen kunnen flink zijn. Met het openbaar vervoer of georganiseerde excursies ben je vaak beperkt, maar met een huurauto ontdek je het eiland op je eigen tempo.
Zo kun je de Serra de Tramuntana verkennen, kleine verborgen baaien bereiken, het noorden ontdekken of sfeervolle dorpjes en wijnhuizen bezoeken. Een auto geeft je de flexibiliteit om je vakantie optimaal in te delen en ervoor te zorgen dat je niets mist.
Stadsweetjes
Mallorca is het grootste eiland van de Balearen en heeft een oppervlakte van ongeveer 3.640 km². Ter vergelijking: het eiland is bijna zo groot als Luxemburg en beslaat ruim een tiende van Nederland. Dankzij dit formaat valt er enorm veel te ontdekken – van stranden en bergen tot charmante dorpjes in het binnenland.
Het wegennet is uitstekend en goed onderhouden, waardoor je gemakkelijk van de ene kant van het eiland naar de andere rijdt. Met een huurauto bereik je niet alleen de bekende hotspots, maar ook de rustige plekken die vaak alleen locals kennen.
Top bezienswaardigheden en activiteiten
Mallorca ontvangt jaarlijks meer dan 14 miljoen toeristen, en dat merk je vooral tussen mei en oktober aan de verkeersdrukte. Daarbij komt dat de eilandbewoners zelf ook vaak een auto hebben: er zijn ongeveer 800 auto’s per 1.000 inwoners.

In Palma zijn openbare parkeergarages en ondergrondse parkings de beste optie, want op straat is het aantal plaatsen vaak beperkt.
Tolwegen
Goed nieuws voor automobilisten: op Mallorca zijn geen tolwegen. In tegenstelling tot veel andere Europese landen kun je hier zonder extra kosten rijden.
Er zijn moderne snelwegen, zoals die van Palma naar Sa Pobla en Alcudia, en de ringweg (Ma-20) rond Palma die aansluit richting Llucmajor of Andratx. Ook de secundaire wegen in het binnenland zijn goed geasfalteerd en rustig, ideaal om ontspannen te rijden en onderweg te genieten van het landschap.
Ideeën voor dagtochten
Met een huurauto kun je volop genieten van mooie dagtochten. Een bijzondere ervaring is het spotten van dolfijnen bij zonsopkomst aan de noordkust – een excursie die natuur en zee perfect combineert.

Eerst playa de Palma geweest, is niet het mooiste stukje Mallorca, veel Duitsers en bijbehorende bier hallen….
Palma stad is prachtig en gezellig, zeer de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Daarna richting Cala d’or gereden, schitterende omgeving, prachtige baaien en in het binnenland mooie stadjes bezocht zoals santanyi waar op woensdag een leuke markt is.

Majorca is een groot eiland. Wanneer je alles wilt zien is een auto een must. De wegen zijn over het algemeen goed aangelegd en onderhouden en wanneer je de bergen in wilt is een goede auto erg handig. Wij hebben de mooiste stranden aan alle zijden van het eiland gezien en beleefd en dat was een stuk lastiger geweest, zoniet onmogelijk, zonder auto. De auto's van Record Go zijn schoon, nieuw en goed onderhouden.

Mallorca was boven onze verwachtingen. We hebben een huisje gehuurd iets buiten het stadje Pollenca waardoor een auto noodzakelijk was. Maar zelfs voor mensen die alle voorzieningen op wandelafstand ter beschikking hebben raad ik een huurauto aan. De natuur in Mallorca is heel mooi. Het gebergte (serra de trumantata), de bergdorpjes, de baaien en de stranden zijn prachtig en veel van de mooiste plekjes zijn enkel met de auto te bereiken. De wegen in Mallorca zijn in heel goede staat (anders dan bij ons) en de wegmarkeringen, de rotondes zorgen voor een vlot verkeer. De wegen in de hoger gelegen delen zijn vaak heel smal en leunen aan tegen een afrond waardoor het aan te raden is om heel voorzichtig te rijden. De mallorcanen daarentegen rijden redelijk snel op deze wegen waardoor er vaak wordt ingehaald of 'in het gat wordt gereden'. Mensen met nachtblindheid moeten er ook rekening mee houden dat veel wegen s'nachts niet verlicht zijn. Maar ondanks dat dit mijn eerste ervaring was met een huurauto ben ik enorm tevreden dat we deze keuze hebben gemaakt. Mallorca is niet groot en daarom hebben we alle kanten van het eiland bezocht en kunnen ontdekken.
