Kosovo and North-Macedonia are definitely worth to visit, we enjoyed our time in Pristina, Skopje and Matka-canyon. Driving culture can be rough sometimes but in general things work ok if you drive carefully. Parking is nightmare so find out about parking places beforehand. Main roads are in good condition but smaller roads can be in a really bad shape but that's similar to Finland.
