The reps politely asked if I wanted damage insurance, and I declined — no pressure at all. I did, however, take the car assistance insurance for €9/day since all cars are hybrid and come without a spare tire, which could be a problem in case of a flat. This guaranteed full assistance anywhere in Italy. Fortunately, I didn’t need it — as they say, the best insurance is the one you never use. Overall, a smooth experience, and I’d definitely rent from this company again.
