How can I add or cancel Mobility Protection?
Whether you need to secure your trip or adjust your plans, we’ve made managing your Roadtrip Protection simple and transparent.
Step-by-Step guide:
Roadtrip Protection is an optional product provided by Sincera Insurance and can only be added during your initial booking on DiscoverCars.com.
If your plans change, you can submit a cancellation request through your My Booking page or via our Help Centre.
Your eligibility for a refund depends on when you submit your request:
- Before Scheduled Pick-up:
If you cancel at any time before your scheduled pick-up — even on the same day — you will receive a full refund. - After Scheduled Pick-up:
Once the scheduled pick-up time has passed, the policy becomes non-refundable, regardless of whether you collect the car or not.
"I can get a partial refund if I don’t use the car for the full rental period."
Once the scheduled pick-up time has passed, Roadtrip Protection is non-refundable.
"If I try to cancel, I’ll be offered a discount to keep the policy."
There are currently no retention or discount offers available if you choose to cancel.

Once added, your coverage applies in all countries or regions where the use of the rental vehicle is permitted under your rental agreement.
