What can I do if I’ve forgotten my driver’s license, credit card or passport?
If you realize you’ve forgotten a critical document before your rental starts, please don’t panic!
Just reach out to us right away so we can help you find the best solution.
Step-by-Step Guide:
If you notice a missing document before your rental start time, just give our 24/7 Customer Support a call. Even if you're within 48 hours of your pick-up, we can often help with a quick check on Main Driver Change to switch the booking to someone else in your group who has all their original, physical documents (like their license, credit card, and ID).
If you're able to grab the document by the next day and contact us at least up to the initital day of pick-up, we can check if there's a way to adjust your pick-up date and time to keep your reservation based on availabilities, as by then, nothing can be guaranteed fully.
Since the rental supplier needs the original physical documents to safely release the car, arriving at the desk without them unfortunately means they won't be able to hand over the keys, and the booking will be marked as a "No-Show."
When the required documents aren't available, the booking is considered a "No-Show," which generally means the prepaid amount isn't refundable. However, if you faced an unexpected situation (like a stolen wallet backed by a police report), we're always happy to step in and assist you further.
💡 Did you know?
Rental companies usually need to see your actual physical documents to get you on the road. Digital scans, photos on your phone, or photocopies generally aren't able to be accepted due to standard insurance guidelines.
