We drove from Cartagena to Tayrona National Park dropping the car at Santa Marta. The journey was interesting and very straightforward. None of the toll stops took credit cards so have enough cash to get you through. Traffic was acceptable and none of the horror stories I read about on the internet. Tayrona was really interesting and we had plenty of enjoyable exercise while experiencing the diverse nature of this part of Colombia.
