Do you provide drivers for vehicles?
DiscoverCars.com is primarily a car rental comparison platform for self-drive vehicles.
This means that for the vast majority of our locations, you or someone in your traveling party will be the one behind the wheel!
Self-Drive Standards:
In almost all of our locations (including Europe, the Americas, most countries in Africa, and Australia), our offers are designed specifically for cars that you drive yourself.
To pick up your car, you'll simply need to provide a valid physical driver's license and a credit card in the main driver's name to cover the standard security deposit.
While we love helping you find the perfect rental car, we don't currently offer tour guides, coaches, or buses with drivers in any of our locations.

While most rentals are self-drive, a small number of select suppliers in specific locations like Vietnam, Indonesia, or China offer professional drivers only upon special request.
"If a driver option isn't listed in the car's Rental Conditions, it means the service simply isn't available in that city."
Because this is a unique service, it may not appear in standard search results.
If you don't see it mentioned, you should reach out to our Customer Support team before booking so we can manually check availability for your specific travel dates.
💡 Did You Know?
If you'd just like a friend or family member to take over the driving duties, you can easily add an "Additional Driver" to your trip! You (as the main renter) simply provide the credit card for the deposit, and your companion is added to the contract right at the counter just by presenting their valid driver's license.
