Can I extend my rental?

Yes, you can usually extend your rental! 
The steps just depend on whether you’ve already picked up the car or are still counting down the days to your trip.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1You haven't picked up the car yet (Pre-Pickup)
  • More than 48 hours before pick-up 
    It's super easy! Just log in to the "Manage Booking" section on our website, click "Modify Booking," and select your new dates. You'll instantly see if the car is available, along with any price differences. Once you confirm the change, we’ll send over a fresh voucher. 
    Pro Tip: Modifying online before your trip is usually much friendlier on your wallet than extending at the desk!

  • Less than 48 hours before pick-up 
    If your trip is coming up quickly and you cannot make the change via "My Booking" page, just reach out to our Support Team. We’ll gladly check with the supplier to see if we can adjust your dates. 
    Last-minute changes depend on what the supplier has available, but we'll do our absolute best to help sort it out for you.

2You are already driving the car (Active Rental)
  • Contact the Supplier
    Since your rental has already started, the local rental office is the best team to help adjust your return date. You can easily find their phone number on the rental agreement you signed at the desk to give them a quick call.

  • Check Local Rates
    The supplier will check their availability and let you know the cost for the extra days. You'll simply pay this directly to them. Keep in mind that these are local walk-up rates, which can sometimes be a bit higher than your original online price.

  • Extend Your Full Coverage Manually
    If you added our Full Coverage, it’s a great idea to keep it going for your extra days! Just contact our Support team, so we can help you with the steps to pay for the extended days, to make sure your Full Coverage remains active during the entire rental period.
