What is Booking Credit?
Booking Credit is a virtual balance in your DiscoverCars.com account that can be used to pay for the online prepayment of future bookings on our website. It is valid for 3 years from the date it was issued.
Step-by-Step Guide:
You’ll typically receive Booking Credit if you cancel a prepaid reservation more than 48 hours before pick-up, or as a goodwill gesture from our support team.
No voucher code is needed! Just start a new booking on our website using the same email address linked to your original reservation.
At checkout, our system will automatically recognise your email and deduct your available credit from the “Pay Now” portion of the total.
You can see your current balance anytime by logging into “My Booking” section using your original booking number and email address.
"I can use my credit to pay the rental supplier at the counter."
Booking Credit can only be used for the online prepayment on the DiscoverCars.com website.
It cannot be used to pay the balance due at the rental desk or for deposit holds.
"I’m stuck with this credit forever if I don't rent a car soon."
If it came from a cancelled reservation (not a bonus or gesture of goodwill), you can usually convert it to a cash refund - just check your cancellation email for a “Withdraw” link.
