The reimbursement link is not working. How can I get my refund?

The reimbursement link in your email works just once to keep your information secure.
If you've already clicked it, your request is likely processing, and the link simply becomes inactive to prevent duplicate refunds.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1Check Your Status

If you already clicked the link to withdraw your funds, your request is likely processing in the background.

2Give it a few days

Once you submit your request, cash refunds usually take about 5 to 10 business days to show up on your bank statement.

3Check Your Balance

Log in to the "My Booking" section on our website.
If your funds still show as "Booking Credit", the withdrawal didn't go through just yet.
If the status says "Refunded", your money is on the way!

4Contact Support for Manual Processing

If the link gave you an error on your first try and your balance still shows Booking Credit, just let us know.
We’re happy to step in and convert your credit into a cash refund for you.

Expectation:

"The link should work every time I click it so I can check my refund status."

Reality:

The link is just there to start the refund process. Once you click it, it becomes inactive to make sure we don't accidentally send duplicate requests to your bank.

Expectation:

"I can withdraw any Booking Credit straight to my bank account."

Reality:

You can easily cash out the original amount you paid. For Booking Credit added as a bonus, a goodwill gesture, or claim compensation, those funds are designed specifically for you to use on a future trip with us.

Important Rules for Booking Credit:

  • Withdrawal Eligibility: You can withdraw credit from a cancelled trip back to your original payment card for up to a full year after we issue it.
  • Validity for Use: Even though the cash withdrawal option expires after a year, your credit stays ready to use for any new booking on our website for up to 3 years.

💡 Did You Know?

The reimbursement link is specifically for turning your Booking Credit back into cash. If you paid with a method that supports automatic refunds, you might not even need the link—it may have processed automatically based on what you selected when you canceled!

What To Do Next:

If it’s been less than 10 business days since you clicked the link, just give your bank a little more time to update.
If you clicked the link and nothing happened, or if you saw an error message, simply reply to our support team with "Manual Refund Request." We'll gladly take care of it for you!
