Can I get a refund if I have not used my Booking Credit?

Yes! You can usually withdraw your Booking Credit back to your original payment method, as long as the credit came from a refundable cancellation and you make the request within 1 year of receiving it.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1Check the Source

Determine how you received the credit.

  • From a Cancellation: If you cancelled a refundable booking, this credit can be converted to cash for up to 1 year.
  • From a Promotion or Claim: Credits given as a Goodwill Gesture, Bonus, or compensation for an issue must be used for a future booking and are non-refundable.
2Find Your Email

Open the cancellation confirmation email you received when the credit was issued.

3Request the Withdrawal

Click the “Request to withdraw funds” link at the bottom of that email. It’s a one-time-use link.

4Wait for Processing

Once requested, the funds will return to your original payment card within 5–10 business days.

Expectation:

"I have credit in my account, so I can cash it out anytime."

Reality:

You can only withdraw the original refundable amount. Any extra credit added by a support agent - like a bonus or complaint compensation - must be used for a future booking and cannot be withdrawn as cash.

Expectation:

"My credit is valid for 3 years, so I can refund it in 2 years."

Reality:

While you can use the credit for a new booking for up to 3 years, you only have 1 year to request a cash refund. After 1 year, the funds remain available only as travel credit until the 3-year expiry.

💡 Did You Know?

The withdrawal link in your email is designed for security and can only be clicked once. If you see an error, it likely means your request is already being processed.

What to do next:

Search your inbox for your "Cancellation Confirmation" email to find your link.
If the link is missing or your credit was issued more than a year ago, just reach out to our support team—they’ll be happy to help!
