Can I drop off my car at a different location?

Yes, usually you can! This is called a "One-Way rental", which allows you to pick up the car in one location and return it in another. It’s a flexible option for road trips, though it often includes an additional one-way fee.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1Booking a New Trip

When searching for a car, simply uncheck the “Return car in same location” option and enter your desired drop-off location. The price shown will already include any applicable one-way fee, so there are absolutely no surprises.

2Changing an Existing Booking (Before Pick-Up)

Go to the “Manage Booking” section on our website and select “Modify Booking.” Enter your new drop-off location to check if the supplier allows it. The system will show an updated price with any one-way fees included.

3Already Have the Car? (During Your Rental)

If your plans change during the rental, contact the rental supplier directly using the phone number on your rental agreement. Only the supplier can approve a new drop-off location once the rental has started.

💡 Did You Know?

There’s an important difference between cross-border travel and international one-way rentals:

  • Cross-border travel: Driving into another country and returning the car to the original location.
  • International one-way rental: Picking up the car in one country and returning it in another.
International one-way rentals often strictly require special approval from the supplier and carry significantly higher fees, so returning the car to the same country where you picked it up is usually the most cost-effective option.
