How do I submit a claim, and how long does it take to get reimbursed?
We know disruptions can be stressful, so we’ve made the claim process as quick and straightforward as possible.
Step-by-Step guide:
Please notify Sincera Insurance and submit your claim as soon as reasonably possible, within 90 days after the drop-off date.
Go to your My Booking page on DiscoverCars.com, where you’ll be guided to submit your claim, or visit Sincera website directly.
To help avoid delays, please provide the following:
- A copy of the rental agreement signed when collecting the vehicle (you can request this from the rental supplier if needed);
- The vehicle condition report from both pick-up and return, if available and relevant to your claim;
- Invoice(s) for the claimed amount;
- Proof of payment (receipt or bank statement);
- Your bank details, including: bank name and address, account number/IBAN, SWIFT code, and any additional details required for an international transfer;
- A clear description of the incident (photos or videos can be helpful, if available);
- A police report, if applicable.

Sincera reviews claims within 30 days after receiving all required documents. Once approved, payment is made within an additional 30 days.
"I can wait as long as I want to file a claim."
Claims must be submitted within 90 days after the rental ends.

Providing accurate details is important. If a payment fails due to incorrect bank information, any related bank fees may be deducted from the final payout.
If there is an objective delay in your reimbursement, you will be informed in writing.
