I traveled around Crete and really enjoyed the beautiful beaches and mountain views. Visiting Balos Lagoon and Elafonissi Beach was unforgettable — the water was crystal clear and the scenery stunning. It was easy to book the car and the check in process was fairly easy as was the drop off process. It took a few minutes to figure out exactly where we needed to be but once we were there, very easy process. Volkswagen Polo
Crete is a beautiful place to visit. Cities of Rethymnon and Chania are a must. Take your wallet, the shops are amazing. Hire a pedalo on Lake Kournas and see the nesting turtles and sea snakes, (not too many to frighten anyone). The beaches at Georgeopolou and Kalyves are beautiful.
