Terminal 1 (T1): Exit through the baggage claim doors into the main arrivals hall. Locate the “Go Natural” coffee shop and go behind it. Follow the signs for Parking (P) G / Shuttle (straight from the back of the coffee shop). Walk down the corridor for approximately 100 meters. Along the way, you will see a tobacco shop on your right, which can be used as a reference point. Continue to the end of the corridor and go down to the lower level using the stairs or elevator. Exit the building and turn left. You will find the minibus / shuttle area here.
Terminal 2 (T2 – 2A, 2B, 2C): Exit the terminal building and stay at street level. If arriving at T2A or T2B, walk to the right. If arriving at T2C, walk to the left. Do not cross the road. Pass the taxi rank and continue following the signs for the minibus / shuttle (Rent a Car area). Continue straight until you reach the shuttle pick-up area, marked with a shelter or sign."

Terminal 1:
After leaving the baggage claim area, you will
see Go Natural cafe
Walk around the cafe and continue straight
following the signs for "La Plaça".
Turn to the left and follow signs for car rental
pickup and continue until you see the OK
Mobility Store.
To pick up your vehicle, take the lift or stairs to
your right and head to the lower floor (Floor 1).
In the car park you will find the vehicle in the
space indicated in the Store.
Terminal 2:
After leaving the baggage claim area, you will see signs for the car rental area.
Turn to the left following these signs and you will immediately see the OK Mobility Store in front of you.
To pick up your vehicle, exit the terminal
and cross the pedestrian crossing on your
right. Cross the road again and opposite, in
the car park, you will find your vehicle in
the marked parking space.
The pickup of vans and campers is only at Terminal 2.

Terminal 1 (T1): Exit through the baggage claim doors into the main arrivals hall. Locate the “Go Natural” coffee shop and go behind it. Follow the signs for Parking (P) G / Shuttle (straight from the back of the coffee shop). Walk down the corridor for approximately 100 meters. Along the way, you will see a tobacco shop on your right, which can be used as a reference point. Continue to the end of the corridor and go down to the lower level using the stairs or elevator. Exit the building and turn left. You will find the minibus / shuttle area here.
Terminal 2 (T2 – 2A, 2B, 2C): Exit the terminal building and stay at street level. If arriving at T2A or T2B, walk to the right. If arriving at T2C, walk to the left. Do not cross the road. Pass the taxi rank and continue following the signs for the minibus / shuttle (Rent a Car area). Continue straight until you reach the shuttle pick-up area, marked with a shelter or sign."

Roadtrip rund um Barcelona
Barcelona – diese Stadt stand schon lange ganz oben auf unserer Bucketlist. Jetzt endlich war
es soweit und wir konnten die katalonische Stadt mit unglaublichen Abenteuern in Kataloien
und der Formel 1 verbinden. Wir hatten Tickets für das legendäre Formel-1-Rennen auf dem
Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya bekommen. Damit war klar: Wir werden nicht nur die Stadt
entdecken, sondern auch die Umgebung rund um Barcelona erkunden.
Der perfekte Roadtrip-Partner
Für unsere Tour durch Katalonien war klar: Ein Mietwagen muss her. Die Abholung am Flughafen lief absolut reibungslos – inklusive Shuttle zur Mietstation mitten in der Nacht. Gerade für Familien mit Kindern ein echter Pluspunkt: stressfreier Start, keine lange Warterei.
Dank unseres Mietwagens konnten wir Barcelona mit seinem Umland flexibel und ganz nach unserem Tempo erkunden – und das hat unsere Reise unvergesslich gemacht.
Dolce Barcelona: Unser perfekter Basecamp
Unser Hotel, das Dolce Barcelona Resort by Wyndham, lag etwas außerhalb des
Stadtzentrums – ruhig, komfortabel und mit allen Annehmlichkeiten: Pool, Wellness,
Golfplatz und große Familienzimmer mit Verbindungstür. Dank Mietwagen waren wir
dennoch in kürzester Zeit überall: in der City, an der Rennstrecke, am Meer oder in den

Via Ferrata Cala del Molí – der einzige Klettersteig Europas direkt am Meer. Eine
fantastische Erfahrung für uns alle! Über Felsen und Seilbrücken, mit Blick auf das glitzernde
Mittelmeer.
Die Fahrt dorthin war unkompliziert – ohne Mietwagen hätten wir diesen Spot nie so flexibel
erreichen können.
Bootstour und Klippenspringen
Nach dem Klettersteig genossen wir eine entspannte Bootsfahrt entlang der zerklüfteten Küste von Sant Pol. Unsere Jungs Flo und Ben konnten sogar von einem der Felsen ins Mittelmeer springen – ein Highlight für die beiden! Spontane Stopps und kleinem Entdeckungen wie diese wären mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln kaum möglich gewesen.
Die Montserrat-Berge: Wandern, Höhlen und ein Kloster
Ein weiteres Must-See abseits der Stadt: Die Höhlen von Montserrat und das imposante Kloster Montserrat. Mit unserem Mietwagen erreichten wir in knapp einer Stunde das Naturparadies. Vom Tropfstein-Wunderland unter Tage bis zur Wanderung zu den Spitzen der zersägten Berge – Montserrat hat uns landschaftlich komplett umgehauen.
Barcelona Citytrip mit der Flexibilität des Autos
Auch für unsere Ausflüge in die Altstadt, zur Sagrada Família oder für spontane Restaurantbesuche am Abend war unser Mietwagen Gold wert. Die Parkplatzsituation war meist entspannter als gedacht – vor allem dank gut gelegener Parkhäuser.
Formel 1 Wochenende: Ein Traum wird wahr
Das Highlight für unsere Jungs: Das Formel 1 Wochenende auf dem Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Mit unserem Mietwagen waren wir früh vor Ort – wichtig, denn das Verkehrsaufkommen rund um die Strecke war enorm. Auch das Parken in den improvisierten
Wiesenparkplätzen klappte gut – allerdings nur, weil wir flexibel waren und uns gut
vorbereiteten.
Zum Abschluss: Sea-Kajak-Abenteuer in Vilanova
Zum Abschluss unserer Reise fuhren wir mit dem Mietwagen Richtung Süden nach Vilanova
i la Geltrú – rund 40 Minuten von Barcelona entfernt. Dort wartete eine geführte Sea-Kajak-
Tour mit dem Anbieter RocRoi auf uns – ein gelungener, sportlicher Abschluss direkt am
Mittelmeer.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Barcelona! Besonders beeindruckt haben uns die Strände und die Architektur – die Sagrada Família und der Park Güell waren einfach atemberaubend. Auch das Essen war großartig, vor allem die Tapas und Paella in den kleinen Restaurants abseits der Touristenstraßen. Die Kinder hatten viel Spaß am Strand und beim Spaziergang durch die Altstadt. Insgesamt war es ein unvergesslicher Urlaub, den wir gerne wiederholen würden.

Fiat 500
Ich hatte nicht realisiert, dass ich ein elektrisches Auto bestellt hatte. Der Fiat 500 elektrisch (42kW) hat eine Reichweite von rund 250 km, falls man sehr vorsichtig fährt. Das war für mich etwas heikel, da ich die Strecke nach L' Ampolla rund 181 km betragen und ich für diese eher kurze Strecke keinen Zwischenstopp machen wollte.
Auch wichtig zu wissen, dass es drei verschiedene Fahrmodi gibt. Normal, Ranger und Sherpa. Sherpa erlaubt nur eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 80 Kmh! So war ich schon etwas verwirrt als ich auf der Autobahn nicht schneller fahern konnte und erst nach einigen Abklärungen die Ursache dafür gefunden hatte.
Sonst aber ein gutes Auto.
