Senior React Native Mobile Engineer

You'll help shape the mobile experience of one of the world's leading car rental marketplaces, delivering features used by millions of travelers worldwide. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, impact, and the opportunity to work on a product at global scale.

What you'll do

• Build and improve features for our iOS and Android apps using React Native.
• Optimize app performance, animations, and user experience across devices.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams.
• Own mobile releases from build to App Store and Google Play submission.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of mobile development experience, including 3+ years with React Native.
• Strong TypeScript skills and experience with the React Native ecosystem (React Navigation, Reanimated, Gesture Handler, MMKV, native modules).
• Experience with state management solutions (Zustand, Redux, or similar) and REST APIs.
• Experience publishing apps to the App Store and Google Play.
• Ability to work with native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) code when needed.
• Familiarity with Firebase, Sentry, PostHog, Adjust, or similar tools.
• Experience working with legacy codebases and distributed teams.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to use AI-powered development tools
• Good command of Latvian, English, and Russian

  

Nice to have: Apple/Google Pay, push notifications, deep linking, NativeWind/Tailwind, Jest, Maestro.
