Senior Software Engineer (Insurance Sector)
We are seeking a forward-thinking Senior Software Engineer to join our Insurance team. You will play a key role in delivering innovative, reliable solutions that protect and serve our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain robust applications across both frontend and backend systems.
- Develop dynamic, user-friendly web interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Design and implement backend services using C# on ASP.NET MVC with a PostgreSQL database.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in .NET and C#, applying modern features and practices to improve performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, domain-specific solutions for the insurance sector.
- Ensure code quality through clean design, code reviews, and comprehensive testing.
- Identify opportunities for technical and process improvements to enhance workflows and product quality.
- Communicate technical requirements and updates clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years in engineering or software development roles.
- Frontend expertise: Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
- Backend proficiency: Hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, and PostgreSQL.
- Industry knowledge: Experience in insurance, finance, or related sectors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Latvian.
- Attention to detail: Precise, thorough, and quality-driven in your approach.
- Learning agility: Quick to grasp new concepts and adapt to challenges.
- Personality: A collaborative, approachable, and supportive team player.
