Check-in at www.moderentals.co.nz/check-in is recommended at least two hours before pick-up. If your pick-up is after-hours, check-in is mandatory at least two hours before end of business day.
Once you have collected your bags and cleared customs, please call us on (04) 213 8938 to order your shuttle.
To meet your shuttle, exit the terminal through the main door G on the ground floor near the baggage collection. Turn right, walk along the path for about 100 meters and follow the sign for Car Rental Shuttles.

Pros: On a positive note another member of the Mode team was very helpful and even lifted our heavy luggage into the car boot and lowered a back seat to facilitate this. I do not know his name but he had distinctive painted blue fingernails.
Cons: I was asked to fill in all our driver details on the Mode tablet device myself and was surprised to see the Mode rep. then use his phone to browse online shops, whilst ignoring his customer. I could have had all kinds of malicious fun with unsupervised access to Mode systems, but I did not and finally completed all details until I got to a page obviously not for the customer to complete. I handed the device back while noticing the staff member was still shopping online.

Pros: Low cost rental, car a bit tired looking but ran well. Bodywork very scruffy looling
Cons: The premises were very off putting, didn’t fill one with much confidence.
