This is our usual trip organisation - all by ourself + rented car. This gives You us freedom and independence. Better than the car is 4x4 car or camper that may give You even more. We have done more than 2k km driving through marrocan roads and visiting planned spots like Marrakesch, Ouzoud waterfalls, Dades Valley, Merzouga and a few others. Trip was great and having the car let us schedlule visit in according to our wishes and appearing situations.

We travelled from Marrakech to Casablanca,Rabat,meknes,volubilis,molay Idris,fes,dadès valley, ouarzazate,m'hamid Sahara,agadir and then returned back to Marrakech.We loved Morocco and the entire trip and the car was lovely.

I was able to discover places I never thought I could. The car allowed this overall the convenience was exactly what you need in a warm country.. air conditioned car that you can drive around.

Everything in Morocco was good but as a word of caution I would say please stay clear of any people in old cities of Fez, Marrakech or Tangier majority of the people who offer help are hustlers and crooks they are normally jobless or so and they will try to confuse you in streets and get money out of you. Though Google is not 100% accurate but I would still suggest to use Google rather than seek help from locals in these old cities.
Tangier was absolutely beautiful; the beach, the view of Gibraltar, meeting of Mediterranean sea with Atlantic and Hercules caves were stunning.
I didn't explore Casablanca other than Corniche, new Medina, Morocco Mall, Sea side, beach and Hassan II mosque but whatever I saw was amazing and I didn't come across any hustlers.
Marrakech is another nice city with lots of good places to visit, my favourite out of all are Ben Yousuf Madrassa, Jama el Fana and Bahai Palace. Night time buzz of Jama el Fana is absolutely electrifying.
Rabat is a nice neat and clean city. It has a feel of discipline and seat of power to be honest.
The only city for which I went to visit Morocco was Fez but it has nothing in it. People from Europe visit it just because it is a UNESCO heritage site and it is kind of functioning medieval city where you can see tanneries and knife sharpeners street etc. If you have seen these things elsewhere then there is nothing else to see other than hustlers and people who are trying to get every penny out of your pocket. If your guide takes you to a shop in Fez please don't buy anything at their recommendation because they have their commission set with the shopkeepers, try to buy from a small shop without any guidance from the guide it will be still as good and 10times cheaper.

Overall was an amazing experience driving in Morocco. The only word of advice is that the traffic police only seem to stop hire cars and lie that you are speeding. I was stopped 3 times in 10 minutes with officers demanding between 150-300 dirhams . I refused to pay as I knew I wasn't speeding and they did not have any evidence to suggest I did.

We picked up the car at Marrakesh Airport and dropped it off at Tangier airport.. We drove through Morocco, with utmost safety, stopped in Casablanca, Rabat, Fes, chefchaouen, and finally teaching Tangier. We found safe places to park, which were near the medinas and old cities.

We stays in a lovely Riad on the first night. It was quite hard to find initially but they had helpers to direct us and the place itself was beautiful and authentic with a great atmosphere and breakfast. We traveled for an engagement so didn’t have much time for sight seeing, although we went to a lovely beach in seidia. Other highlights were the souks and the kittens everywhere!
