We’d like to tell you that we’ve become more flexible, but the truth is that we were always flexible. If you need to change the dates of your rental or you decide to travel somewhere else, you can modify your booking in the My Booking section without charge (although the rental price may change).

What insurance policies does my hire car have?

If you choose not to purchase Full Coverage or any insurance directly from the hire provider, your hire car will only have basic insurance (renters residing in the United States and Canada will have no coverage if they also do not have their own.). This means that in the event of any damages, you will be responsible up to the amount of the excess. Basic insurance sometimes includes a Collision Damage WaiverTheft Protection and Third-party Liability, but sometimes one or two of these. Whether or not they are included depends on both the car you choose and the legislation of the country where you hire the car.  

In some cases, basic insurance might not be included and you will be held fully responsible for damages up to the full value of the car. You should consult the hire conditions for more information. You’ll find these when you search for a hire car on our website. Just click on the Rental Conditions to find the information.

We strongly suggest purchasing our Full Coverage. We offer the best price, and you will be much safer during your hire period as you’ll be protected by an international company.
