Routes Car & Truck Rentals at Atlanta Airport

Pros: The car and price were great. No complaints.

Cons: Was pretty confusing trying to find the shuttle area at the airport and I had to call two times. No signs for Routes anywhere.

Pros: The affordability was why I went with routes

Cons: Picking up the vehicle was a little over an hour of waiting, which was The reason I gave such a low score. Score would have been much better if the shuttle picked up every 10 to 15 minutes as was promised to me.

Pros: When $120 is stolen it tends to overshadow the rest if the experience with the party doing the stealing.

Cons: Routes is not even responding to communications.

Pros: Affordable and reliable. There weren't any crazy costs like the other car places

Pros: The price of the rental car was very competitive due to the fact we rented the car on the day of the trip.

Cons: The tire pressure sensor kept going off along with a few other gauges. The windows were difficult to see out of and we had to stop at the gas station to clean them and spend money to put air into all of the tires which were extremely low. The car had a stale smell to it and we had to crack the windows.

Pros: Good value for the car.

Cons: The offsite location made it confusing at first.

Cons: Absolute trash service, tricked into renting a car from out of state then denied service and no refund, crooks.

Cons: Difficult of finding location to pick up car and facility to pick up car wasn't ideal. Most people had to wait outside.

Pros: It was a fair bit cheaper that other options.

Cons: Routes shuttle service to get to their rentals was extremely slow. Once I got there it was also very slow checking out and they were so disorganized that they gave me a car that was double parked so I had to go back and redo paperwork for a car that was actually accessible. Overall the process took 2 hrs. They also weren't open when I returned the car so I had to pay for an Uber to get to the airport. I will never do business with Routes again and I would recommend you not book for them either.

Cons: Routes made me prepay and then after waiting a half hour for the shuttle was told by the driver that they had no more cars and that they could not give me a refund. They left me stranded at the airport. Routes sucks!

Cons: The rental desk was located in a strange location, and the address listed, when entered into a map, does not bring you to the rental desk.

Cons: Rude staff, their refund policy of the deposit is not good. It's been 10 days they still haven't refunded my deposit money. Insane !!!!

Cons: Gas tank was only 3/4 full, was tricked into paying for insurance coverage I did not need.It was difficult getting in and out of car rental location.

Cons: It's a little further, requires an additional shuttle from the rental place. But that keeps the price low.

Cons: We arrive and receive a very dirty car. Ask for a one clean and they told the cars is ok to go out. Because no have mayor scratch on the paint. They ask for sign that the car is ok to receive. Went return the vehicle they don’t want to inspect the car and ask to sign without information the inspection. I need to ask to perform the inspection before leave. They don’t want and told if anything find they send a email.

Cons: The unexpected $9/day extra charges. Plus the little trailer was so crowded with people at drop off.

Cons: They misrepresented that they were onsite at ATL airport. They were working out of a trailer. The first two cars they tried to rent me had broken windshields. The subsequent two were blocked in by other returned cars and couldn't be accessed. The staff was astoundingly unorganized. Contract I had to sign was illegible (must have been copy of a copy of a copy..). The credit card reader screen was broken and detecting pencil when the pencil wasn't being used which meant the signature was impossibl

Pros: Never have received a receipt of return. Sent 3 emails & still waiting on receipt & redeposit of $500.00

Cons: The person setting up the paperwork was a bit impatient, telling me the information I needed and wanted it now no time to waist attitude wanted to double charge for insurance that I had already paid for.... then read off the law that if the car goes over state lines we will be charged $9 a day extra ! They got you over the barrel their not close to other rentals so.... you bite the bullet☹️

Pros: The phone number I was given to call was an international number so I couldn’t call them to get the car. I never picked up the car. Worst company ever

Cons: Shuttle accommodations. We were placed in a family van (with 4 others) as the shuttle was broken down. We waited about 20 min for the shuttle to get to car rental.

Pros: Routes always has the best vehicles and hooks customer up with upgraded cars. The agents are extremely helpfully and friendly as well.

Cons: It is very inconvenient renting a vehicle from a company who is not located at the airport. I wasted a lot of time looking for the shuttle bus pick-up site. After I found the the area I sat around waiting for a decent about of time.

Pros: I liked the value of the car for the price I paid.

Cons: I hated going to routes. There was only one agent so it took forever. This was after already waiting to go off site from the airport with two babies. The agent was rude and condescending. I will never return to routes.

Cons: I arrived on Wednesday night. Per the reservation instructions I called to have the shuttle pick me up at the car rental center. The shuttle took 30 minutes to arrive. Terrible start. Once in the sketchy office (trailer) it went okay took longer than expected but after 40 minutes they gave me a car. I get all my stuff in and start driven away with an empty gas tank at 10:30 pm and an oil change light turned-on I went back and after other 30 minutes they gave me another car, that had 1/8 of tank

Cons: I reserved a sedan for about $60 for a few days. When I got to the dealership, they had no sedans in sight, and instead had a lot full of SUVs and Jeeps. I'm personally not very comfortable driving large vehicles, and really just wanted what I reserved. They also told me that there was an extra fee for taking the car out of the state, something around $15 a day. This was a hidden fee that was not expressed at the time of order. So I reserved a sedan for $60, and ended up with a Jeep for $95.

Pros: The vehicles were in great shape and I was given an upgrade because my chosen vehicle wasn't in. The staff was mostly pleasant, and flexible with my requests.

Cons: There was not a lot of clarity on the drop off. I pulled into the lot and was told to go wait for the shuttle. The attendant didn't run through any paperwork, have me sign anything, or even give me a physical receipt. I was told he would email it to me, but I have yet to see one 5 days later.

Cons: 1.The car wasn’t cleaned before we got it from the last driver. 2. The shuttle took 45 minutes to come get us and literally drove passed us 3 times even though we had called to let them know we were there waiting. The customer service, when we complained, said it was our fault bc we were sitting on a bench and the driver didn’t see us. The driver didn’t even stop to TRY and see us. He didn’t even pause. He just flew by driving very fast. The directions were not clear on where and how to wait.

Pros: Scot told us about places to check out in Atlanta and was super friendly and welcoming. The girl behind the desk was warm and welcoming too.

Cons: The looks of the lot. It was under construction. The need a nice office, not a trailer.

Pros: The car was nice. Agents were very friendly. Online reservation process was easy. Return of rental and shuttle to and from the airport was smooth and simple.

Cons: The rental counter was located inside a VERY small trailer. When I arrived on the shuttle with 6 other ppl there was barely enough room for all of us to wait inside the “building”. My process to pick up my car took at least a half and hour, some of the papers were printed to poorly that they were difficult to actually read what I was signing. They agents communicated with the ppl bringing the cars around by talking out the window....didn’t seem very efficient. And there was no bathroom.

Cons: Difficult getting there, different car than requested (got a truck instead of a subcompact), slow.

Cons: I didn't like the fee I had to pay for unlimited millage. 150 miles a day is not enough. Should give 1500 miles for 3-7 rental

Cons: It took the agent one hour to fill out your paperwork. She kept having to stop and answer the telephone which was constantly ringing.
