Cons: I locked the car keys in the car and hertz wouldn’t help me same day and the manager was not helpful at all, he seems to not care on top of that they wanted to charge me 2thousand 500 pula to come and open the car for me the next day even though I explained that I had an important meeting in the morning and needs the car early morning. I ended up sourcing a different locksmith with a lower charge to open the car on the same day.

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory. Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license. In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: voucher, passport or ID, International Driving Permit and a valid credit card in the name of the renter.

Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period. The deposit amount consists of 2500 BWP plus the deductible/excess of 15000–30000 BWP, depending on the car group.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit. The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: MasterCard, Visa. Any other cards or cash payments are not accepted.
For the Luxury, Premium car group, a minimum of two credit cards issued on the main driver's name are required.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).

Cross-border policy
Domestic one-way trips are possible for an extra charge from 1300 BWP to 3000 BWP, depending on the selected location. International one-way rentals are allowed for an additional charge of 5500 BWP. International one-way rentals are only allowed to certain countries: Botswana, Namibia.
