Pros: Friendly and relaxed , this is Barbados!

Cons: Car had minor dinks and cracked light lenses, none of which marked on handover on sheet. I photographed these and caused no damage myself but until deposit hold is released I am at risk. I would prefer inspection and release of deposit on handover. But great service, this is a technical point not a criticism of service.

Pros: We were quite disappointed, the vehicle showed up with the wrong car seat from what was required. The woman assured me “oh this is fine” we made due with it. We were also unable to pay the remaining amount on a credit card like we were told we would be able to. So I had to rush out to get cash. When we returned the car we were told everything looked good. Then a day later I get a text saying the vehicle smelled of urine and needed a $125 clean. We had gone over and wiped -see next window

Cons: Down the vehicle. She mentioned the seat needed to be cleaned but our children were wearing diapers sitting in the child seats so I’m unsure how they believe this happened, when I reached out for more information I was ignored

Pros: Personalized service and communication and getting exactly the car advertised.

Cons: The service was great, but not the price. I understand it was a very busy week with minimal inventory on the island, but $2800.00US for one week in a small jeep for 4 was excessively overpriced.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: They didn’t have a desk at the airport ( which was not specified ) , the agent was late , and arrived without the car , without the contract and without the credit card machine . Waited in the hot sun for over an hour . When the car finally arrived with the credit card machine , it had no paper in it . The car was full of scrapes , and was barely clean . A discount was given and a apology was sent via message which was appreciated, however I cannot use this service again or recommend it. .

Cons: When we had a flat battery, we made a call to owner, we did not get a response, it was 12 midnight. We had to get a taxi home. When I spoke to owner of car, she said we must have left lights on and blamed us for car not working. We then had to wait till car was fixed and brought back to us.

Pros: Nothing, will Never use Autounion again

Cons: Waited 45 mins outside Barbados Terminal for agent at the collection point. No office or contact point at Airport details to help or advise when agent will arrive. Car in poor condition and satnav/radio all in Japanese with no way to change to English.

Cons: didnt bother to meet me at agreed time and place to return car, waited 40 minutes until eventually told to hide the key under the drivers mat. Also they didnt have any sat navs so i expect a refund for that

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Additional driver, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1000.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Premium Location fee, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 25 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Drivers over the age of 70 must present a doctor's certificate of health.
The driver license must be written in Roman, English alphabet.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, ID card, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.

Maestro, American Express, Cash, Cheques, Diners, Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

The first additional driver is allowed free of charge.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 0 minutes.
